PLANNED ACTIVITIES

The proposed renovation actions aim to refine the measures already implemented in the building since it has been renovated partially last year 2019. The goal is to guarantee that all the systems can be run under electric energy supply, putting aside the non-renewable energy sources.
Even if it is considered renewable energy and have a good performance, the biomass boiler for DHW production is replaced by a high-performance HP now providing HVAC and DHW services. This implies the replacement of the existing heating system emitters with fan coils.
The next step is to ensure that the energy supply is as much renewable as possible. On that terms, the roof top of the hotel offers a large area where the panels can be installed, finding enough space to put in place up to 300PVs.

RESULTS

ESTIMATED PRIMARY ENERGY SAVINGS

Non-Ren Primary Energy: 15% energy savings

Heating: 0%

Cooling: 0%

Ventilation: natural forced by the AC system

Domestic hot water: increase of the 43% due to the energy vector

Lighting: 0%

PV Production: 25.2 kwhPE/m2y
