The 20th International Conference: THERMAL PROTECTION OF BUILDIGNS 2019  took place in Strbske pleso on 22-24 May 2019 (Slovakia). ALDREN team (ENBEE, CSTB) presented  contribution on the importance  of hourly calculation step for energy performance certification and for realistic energy savings estimation in building renovation process towards NZEB based on the results from the scale testing for Common European Voluntary Certificate for non-residential buildings in ALDREN project.

Common European Voluntary Certificate for non-residential buildings developed in ALDREN project was presented as an option or complementary to national energy performance certificates of non-residential buildings for some purposes.

Please, click here for the full presentation or find below the abstract of the article written by Jana Bendzalova (ENBEE) and Simon Ligier (CSTB):

The EPB overarching standards EN ISO 52000-1 for calculation of energy performance of building and EN ISO 52016-1 for calculation of energy needs for heating and cooling depending on thermal envelope suppose the hourly calculation step for the EP of building calculation as the default option. Contribution deals with the cases when the hourly calculation step is important.
The analysis is based on the results from the scale testing for energy performance of buildings assessment and energy savings calculation for renovation strategies towards NZEB using the hourly calculation step in the frame of proposal for Common European Voluntary Certificate for non-residential buildings in ALDREN project.
